The lodge is a fully metal sided and roofed barndominium style, two story new house. There are two private bedrooms on the main floor along with two full bathrooms with the second floor having its own private bedroom along with two bonus rooms. One bonus room has a queen size bed with the other having two bunk beds (8 total beds throughout the house). There is a full kitchen, two gas fireplaces, washer and dryer, 360 degree concrete porch with grill along with chairs and fire pit to enjoy the views 

We are located in Monroe County, Kentucky. Our lodge is 90 minutes from Nashville, just over two hours from Louisville, 60 minutes from Bowling Green and only 20-30 minutes from Lafayette, TN and Tompkinsville, KY which has plenty of access to shopping and groceries. 

Short answer…virtually anything! We breed and/or have access to almost any type of wildlife you want to chase, including different species and colors of turkeys as well as world class size boar hogs.

You bet. We want your experience to be as simple and enjoyable as possible. Just book your hunt, show up with a smile and we’ll take care of the rest. 

Yup! We will have hot breakfast prepared each morning along with fresh brewed coffee, lunches and dinners. We generally have meals planned out for you, but if you have any type of dietary restrictions or have a specific request for meals, just let us know. Alcohol is not included. 

None. HWR&W strives to give you the best, most personalized experience possible. You and your group will be the only guests during your stay. 

Whatever you want. We will have facilities set up that can accommodate whatever your preferred method of harvest is. 

We can arrange to have rifles and shotguns for those hunters who need them provided. We will not have bows available. 

All of our hunts are fully guided. Once harvested your guide will field dress and/or cape and quarter your animal to whatever your preference.

We don’t do any in house taxidermy and our pricing does not include taxidermy work. We are partnered with top notch taxidermists in the area who can fit your needs and we can help transport your harvest to them if necessary. 

100%! We offer 100% shot opportunity success at HWR&W. We want everyone to walk away with a smile on their face. Our facilities ensure that everyone will have a shot opportunity at their dream animal. Most shots will be 75 yards or under.
